A football game broke out in the Bronx.

6-5 heading to the bottom of the 2nd. This game may be done by 11:45 at this pace

Castro is crushing the baseball right now.

3 run HR. 9-5 Yanks. Every Yank has been to the plate 2X in the first 2 innings

What's the point in replay if you don't get it right?

I'm actually wondering

The futility counter is back on, and it's at 20 innings.

Didn't see the play but if he grabbed the 2nd baseman's leg then it would be interference (based on the way Umps have been calling it) even before the new rules. Yes, it adds slightly more risk for injury but it's the way baseball has been played for ages. What's next? Is the NBA going to outlaw any type of physical contact because it adds risk of injury? Actually, never mind, I don't want to give the NBA any ideas. They might actually do that.

The futility counter is back on, and it's at 20 innings.

I can't even make fun of them. They are playing that poorly. I like what I'm seeing from the Dodgers, specifically the control from our pitching staff and the patience at the plate Puig is showing but it's hard to gauge with the Padres. I will have to wait for the series against the D-Backs, I guess.
