Welcome to the board. This has to do with the game day thread starter. Stokes started the game day thread for the only game the Giants have lost this season.

Hey, at least you were brave enough to start one, and it was against Kershaw, too, the best pitcher in the game right now, IMO. I've never started a game day thread.

Just got home from the park. A few thoughts:

1. There is a full on love affair with Zeets now; dude is ADORED.
2. Standing O for Bengie before the game.
3. I thought they'd fly both the 2010 and 2012 flags but only the new one is on the pole.
4. Two absolutely suckass ABs for Moped today. One with bases loaded and one out and the other leading off the 7th when Westbrook was at 100+ pitches -- 2 pitch ground out. He really needed to work the count there.
5. Stamos is really hitting the ball well.
6. The bully was strong again. I'll take it.
7. There is only one guy upset with the 26 inning streak, and he's PISSED. Rally enchiladas.

Where is DP with the official TZill stamp of approval?

Pence robbed Beltran there! One down.

That was a tougher play than it looked. I'm sure many of us here have played some outfield, even in softball. For me, one of the hardest plays was the sinking line drive. The ball has so much spin, is hit so hard, and goes so far, that it curves and/or sinks many many feet. Plus, it was curving away from Pence, and it curves more as it slows down.

Very nice play, even though it looked a bit awkward.
