KNBR (Brooks??) speculated that they wanted to sit him for a day anyway (as much to get Sandoval some PT as much as getting Longo some rest) and they wanted to sit him with a good feeling rather than sitting him with an 0-fer over his head.

Did you all see that the Dodgers just got swept by the D-Backs in Arizona? Patrick Corbin threw a 1 hitter today. The Dodgers' offensive numbers look almost as bad as ours.

I know, each game counts, etc. But do you really waste any time looking at the standings until at least late May?
