I want DigDug in Center, but moving him around for experience is a good thing. Not certain he has the arm for Right, but OK...

Only the 5th different lineup Boch has used all season. Dude is a pillar of consistency.

From what I have heard/read, Pillars d, while still solid, is not what it was.

Just mentioned on KNBR that Pillar will be the primary CFer with DigDug getting BU time and DigDug will be the regular RFer with Parra getting bu time.

Extrapolated from that would be Parra in left with Joe getting the bu time.

Apparently they are giving the job to Pillar due to his veteran-ness. They said he is getting it since he is more familiar with it.

Breaking down the OF play, assuming the “main 3” get every 4th game off...

CF: 75% Pillar; 25% Dugger
RF: 50% Dugger; 50% Parra
LF: 25% Parra; 75% Joe/Belt

That’s not a horrible breakdown.

In seriousness, whatever Pillar may have been, he's not that now. He's not bad, but he's not upper-upper division. We're not even entirely sure what Duggar is yet, to be fair, but that's why I'm not too bummed out (even though I'd like to see Duggar there).
