Ross didn't get us -- Oxys shitty routes did. He took a terrible route on that 4th inning "double" and an even worse one on the 3 run bomb. He was "lucky" it went out, or he'd have overrun that one too.

Giants lose 6-4 in a game they could of won but come up short

I got home late last night from the game so I am writing the recap this morning. Bum did'nt have it last night and the Giants fell behind early. They made a few comebacks but never got that clutch hit in a rally to pull it out.

Some positives....Morse had a good game going 3-4 and 2 RBI's. Posey had 2 hits. Pagan did his job getting on and scoring a run. Pence had a scorching triple and a RBI. Hicks had another HR which should put him as the leading candidate to play 2nd base until Scutaro is ready to go . Guiterrez , Affeldt , and Machi had good outings.

It was kind of a strange game on one of the best weather days of the year. There was no wind at all out there and I never had to put a jacket or sweatshirt on all night. Today the weather is supposed to be even better maybe reaching the 80's in SF. Hopefully Cain can get the W and all will be right with the world again.

I think it is important to note that there are still 136 games left which is a lot of baseball. Onward and upward as the Giants still stand alone in first place in the West.
