Fuck the toothpick; 6-3 good guys.

Arias on the bench, Huffer to bereavement list. Still no word on the 40 man move.

And Zeets will have to pitch up in the zone to avoid ground balls...

AND...

seeing as each team is only allowed 1 player to START the play outside the foul lines, I am not sure how they are going to make this work. I am sure the Noggin has a plan, though...

Have Sanchez, in full gear, line up 10 feet away from home on the third base side (Zito being a lefty). Then, as the ball is pitched, have Sanchez step in front of the plate, 5 feet away.

He could probably block most of the balls that were hit, then between him and Buster, pick it up and make the play.

Plus, Sanchez could be the designated plate-blocker if there was a play at the plate.

You have to think out of the box to make that quantum leap forward.

It's clearly a new infield position called "Center." the Center will play 30 feet in front of the mound, crouching down until the pitch clears him on the way to the plate. Then, he springs up in sort of a soccer type wall. Good news is that he gets full catchers gear.

2 Catchers help Zito's chances , keeps the hitters off balance not knowing which one he's throwing to .

Good strategy by Bochy

OT : Ishikawa has Homered 2 days in a row for the Brew Crew

So this is our Wildcat defense?

That means he has to sit for a week now.

Have Sanchez stand 30 feet up the 1st base line for a right handed hitter, 3rd for a left, have him wear shoulder pads and helmet and as the pitch is thrown charge the hitter. He should get plenty of sacks as the Reds wont have anyone to block. Now if the Reds would have thought outside the box and drafted a LT they could have been ready for this defensive alignment.

Huffer hits the 15, not the 7. Looks like he has had enough of the pressure and bad press...

I 100% feel for him, don't get me wrong, but he just needs to look over at Zito to see how to take an entire cities wrath. He has seen NOTHING compared to Zeets...

True....it takes all of The Zeetmeisters powers to keep that Zen-like tranquility as balls are hitting the outfield seats...

Ishi now has more HRs on the season than Belt and Huff combined!

(That is sarcasm. It's true, but spoken sarcastically. I am not implying that we should trade for Travis.) ;)

So Arias is up now, giving the Giants better infield depth (so we wont run into any issues like Saturday). Arias has been killing it in AAA so far and was hot in Spring Training.
