I spent the day hiking in Yosemite with my daughter, who is about to go to grad school. What a lovely day! Lots of water! And it was free! (All week, admission to National Parks is free.)

I didn't know that. I heard Yosemite had a lot of people this week. This explains why.

Now a 9-pitch inning, and he has a good chance to go 5 now. If they got to him in that inning, they could have gotten to the pen and set themselves up well for the rest of the series.

I watch the Warriors more for entertainment value rather than emotional appeal, so this actually may be one to tune into given the circumstances. Doesn't seem to be hurting the offense much so far, but the Rockets might be playing a little more inspired.

They are the most entertaining NBA team I've ever watched, and I was a Bulls fan in the 90s. Of course it isn't the same without Curry

Yup. We buy the annual pass which saves us money. We live about 2 hours from Yosemite, and the few hardy souls who visit us always want to "just take a drive to Yosemite". Like visiting in Los Angeles and just wanting to take a drive to Palm Springs or San Diego.

While life in the valley can have its challenges, being this close to Yosemite is not one of them. The views never get old. Never.

I grew up two hours from Yosemite and only visited it a handful of times. I wish I had gone more often.
