Strick can't recover from this.
When is Melancon due back?
Uh, what for?

More bang for the blown save buck. Strickland provides low value blown saves. Melancon's are much more costly.Uh, what for?
Who said the other day that we haven’t had a gut lunch game yet this year?
Whoever it was...
It's just an ego thing isn't it? I mean, the pitchers are all thinking I can strike this guy out, he ain't gonna embarrass me.Super risky. At most maybe a non-walk walk. Throw all stuff outside the zone.
2nd highest paid team this year and just as bad as the Marlins who gutted their team. There is no way this team should be hitting as poorly as they are. They have the worst offense.

Legit question - After tonight, does Will Smith or Tony Watson get inserted into the closer's spot? If so, does Bochy make the other lefty the 7th inning guy, just keep from throwing two lefties in a row and burning through his lefty options?
Never mind that he took Strickland yard in a similar spot in SF. Of course, that probably adds to Strickland wanting to pitch to him again. It's just an ego thing isn't it? I mean, the pitchers are all thinking I can strike this guy out, he ain't gonna embarrass me.
I think we've removed all reservations about questioning Bochy's decisions after those three rings. (Actually, I think I probably never really stopped doing that). Why would Bochy start doing anything different? He's like 90 years old.
