The thing that worries me is we all expect Smith to ride into town and be a stud, he hasn't pitched in almost 2 years.

I expect him to be rusty, but I also wouldn't be surprised that he gets thrown right in to a high pressure role right away.

Not yet. They are saying he will be back by the 1st, but he has been getting consistant work in SJ. If Oshit continues to suck, I can see them rushing him back.
