Vogey with an 11.00 ERA. When can we call him "done"? This is embarrassing!

Now his ERA is 12.00. :L

And Giants heading for their 3rd shutout in the first 12 games of the season, including twice at home in the space of five days.

Perhaps they ought to postpone tomorrow's ring ceremony until they can actually win a game at home.

He has been done since late last season

It's hard to believe the Giants can't score any runs.

Peavy/Vogey combination with an ERA over 10.50

I thought Peavy was done last year. The excitement of the pennant race revitalized him a little, but he was bad in the playoffs. Dude used to be good first time through the order, then OK second time, and then lit up third time through. Now he can't make it through the order once without giving up runs. Maybe he only pitches well when it "counts". (Don't ALL games count?!?)

Vogey at least is cheap. But if this continues, bring up the kids to pitch. Thanks for the third ring, and that will always be a positive memory no one can take away. But if you can't get outs, you are no longer a big league pitcher.

OK, I know, I know, SSS, but this has been going on since early March, and late last year.

Beauty. Guy hitting less than a buck singles, steals 2nd after Peavy allows him about a 40 foot lead, advances on a fly to center, and scores on a single by the opposing pitcher. Too early to call Peavy "done"?

I get the "house money" thinking, but this is really brutal to watch and/or listen to.

Lollygaggers!

So don't. Seriously, just stop until they start playing better and earning your attention. That's what house money means to me, I don't really care that much this year. They of course might turn it around but a lot had to go right this year and it looks like it's not gonna. It's not shatting, because I'm not really even upset about it. A fact is a fact and the fact may be that they aren't very good this year. So rebuild then...

But this year is just a kind of 'meh' year, if they need to rebuild, then so be it. And if they turn it around, great I'll start to care again.

So is now a bad time to talk about limiting Bumgarner's innings this season?

It might be early but I hope they have the stones to realize when it's time to declare this year a full rebuild year. They will probably wait to get healthy and see how they look then. If it's still a mess they will 'shut it down'

Like the Red Sox last year. Traded off some parts, gave some young guys chances and went for it again this year

Might be fun (if kinda early) to start the 'what would you do if this is a rebuild year' convo.

It'll be interesting to see if Pence fixes things. If not, they really do have to write this year off. For example, if Pence comes back and Belt still can't figure it out, time to pull the plug on Belt. Gives Posey his spot at first...
