For those of you who haven't attended a game in SF this year, the support for JHL is pretty amazing.

In both games I've attended as soon as he leaves the on deck circle the crowd breaks out the "JUNG HOO LEE.... JUNG HOO LEE.... JUNG HOO LEE.... ...." chants, regardless of the game situation

Can't remember another player getting that magnitude of call-up. Gotta believe it'll be more pronounced in the next homestand

I know there is a big Asian community in the BA, but how is the Korean population? Maybe this is a competitive advantage we have not been tapping into.

Japan seems to be not the place to go. Love the Japanese people, but they seem to prefer LA lol.

Big Korean American community in the East Bay. Had a client once who was from that community. Fun fact, he won Survivor and went on the be part of Obama's administration. Super interesting guy and said the support for him in that community was off the charts.

Whelp, that looks like game in the first. Walker isn't likely to give up many runs.

We have already had moundshattery and baseclownery.

I guess work it is.

Right after I posted this, Walker threw the ball into CF on a chopper. and then the Fitz bomb.

This team, man....this team....

not sure, without data i'm just guessing it isn't nearly the size of Chinese or Japanese, but I really don't know

pretty much all of the 30k fans were chanting though

The real Taijuan Walker showed up haha. Frustrates the hell out of me that Phil’s hitters keep getting themselves out. Dude is struggling to locate and they’re striking out on junk out of the zone.

Adames may be coming around, good to see.

Man, our leadoff spot is a black hole. Whoever bats there doesn't hit at all.

Hitting in the leadoff position, the Snakes lead baseball with a .344/.447/.688/1.135 line

The Giants are last in baseball at the leadoff position hitting (or not) .097/.174/.210/.384 with 28K's in 65 AB's

Gotta find a leadoff hitter.

Low expectations against Walker, but I'm willing to be surprised. Maybe LWJ, Chapman, Adames, and Bailey can get off the interstate?

All Hail Lee!!
I was shocked to see how many Giants' hitters are under .700 OPS coming into this game. Hadn't been paying too much attention to individual stats this season (haven't had time). I expected more to be doing well.

Me, too. And yet we are 11-4. Go figure.
