I think you somewhat underrate how good Milwaukee and Miami still were, though. They're both very well coached, and they both still had absolute stud superstars who each put up some epic performances.

That might have been the best Giannis has ever played... (especially considering the caliber of defense he was facing).

The Bucks, I'll give you. I think that with Middleton, they win the series, but Giannis is in the convo for best player in the league...so you kind of expect him to step up and carry the extra load.

But the Heat? Their superstar is lower half of the top 10 at best, was playing on 1 leg and they were without their 2nd best offensive player. They aren't as talented as the Celtics when healthy. No way they should have been able to push the Celtics like that.

And you've posted with me long enough to know that, while I'm a Lakers fan and hating the Celtics is in my DNA...if I honestly thought the Celtics were going to win beat the Warriors, I'd say so and hope to be wrong.

I think more highly of Miami in general and Butler specifically, though. That team and that player are more than the sum of their individual talent... and their individual talent is pretty darn good, too. They were banged up though... no doubt.
