You don't need excuses when you win on the road and dish out 13 assists while leading your team in minutes
Horford easily could’ve dished out 13+ assists.

He saw that Tatum was struggling, so he decided to take over the game.

Dunno why you're wasting your time. Dude's just gonna keep trolling for Tatum no matter what...

Why waste the time? Because I'm having fun right now.

This fella's starting to remind me of a certain unnamed Cavs fan that overly pimped up LeBron, then hated him, then overly pimped him up again and now hates him again.

Good thing his teammates shot the ball better is the moral of that story
That's part of what makes Tatum special. His unselfishness and his defense. He can still impact the game without scoring. He has over +11 on/off and played 41 minutes last. night

Abd if his teammates hadn’t hit shots he would straight up be the guy who lost the game.

Huh, wonder who you could mean...:heh:

But yeah, he went out of his way to be that level of annoying. Course the Cavs' collapse, plus a few other choice shitty predictions, pretty much dimmed his "enthusiasm" if not shut him up completely...

LeBron at a similar age as Tatum was getting swept in the 2007 finals and chucking bricks every game

When the Cavs got swept in '07 LeBron was 22, not 24. But the time LeBron was 24 he was a 5x all star. A 2x All Star game MVP and won a League MVP.

Tatum has the luxury of playing with other great players around him. Lebron took a team of nobodies with him to the finals. Huge difference.

You don't have to discount other people's success in order to prop up your favorite player.

Lebron's #2 that year was Ilgauskas. His backcourt? Eric Snow and Sasha Pavlovic (not quite Smart and Brown).
Yep no comparison. The fact they even got to the Finals was a miracle. They were a 20 win team without him. Tatum will never be anything close to Lebron and that says a lot bc I like Tatum and his potential. A nice 2-way wing player for a long time in this league. He isn't even in the conversation as the best player in the world, maybe in a couple years...all depends on his growth.

Another off season with Horford is going to do WONDERS for Tatum’s game.

WHOOOO boy. I got too emotionally invested in last nights game and was in jeopardy of snapping at someone. Don't know why, but yesterdays game stressed me out more than a game actually should. Might have to address that soon.

On a personal note, Celtics played a helluva game. Tatum had an off game but the rest of the team came to play. White and Horford were amazing. Role players all did their jobs really well. The Warriors "others" lost this game for them. Steph had a great game but there were too many defensive lapses and turnovers. Klay, Poole and Draymond all need to be better.

I guess throughout the season I've been mesmerized by Jordan Poole's offense that I didn't notice his defense. In the playoffs its become abundantly clear to me that he's one of the worst defensive players in the NBA. It's crazy. If you take all the players who play at least 20 minutes a night, he's easily the worst defensive player. That is something that will need to be addressed.

That Celtics 4th quarter was like the nba version of what Duke did to Texas tech in the second half of their game

That’s one of the best quarters of basketball (especially considering strength of opponent) that we’ve seen in a bit

Totally agree. Tatum's not in the conversation for best of the best. But thankfully for Celtics fans (not kawhi2tatum, he's not a real fan of the team) he's still a youngster and hasn't even hit his prime yet.
