I was told that the Wolves front court would be the difference in this series. A small sample size for sure but if last night is any example of where this series is going then they had better make some adjustments in the paint. Quick.

Ant ran out of gas. He hasnt been quite the same player since he took that hard fall on the foul my MPJ in game 6 of the last series. Either that or he is REALLY enjoying playoff night life. But that was weird.

Towns and Ant combined for a 12 for 36 night. Throw in a combined 6 for 15 from Gobert and Conelly and 4 out of our 5 starters went 18 for 51. And we were still competitive. Why I am not overly worried.

Some people warned that teams coming off a game 7 didnt have good games 1 and they werent kidding. I didnt think that would matter all that much since Dallas only had 1 extra day off.....but it all showed.

Fun game overall though.

Anyone notice it was about G4 or G5 of the OKC series Luka went from 100 to 0 complaining to the officials. I don't know who had a talk with him, maybe Kidd but it is refreshing. He is enjoy the game and we don't have to watch him bitch the entire game. It is good to see.

It is the risk of always running your mouth. I am good with this though. When Ant runs his mouth and gets burned he takes it and then improves himself. It only becomes an issue if after it happens you try and walk back or hide from your comments.

So what yer sayin' is this years MVP didn't deserve the award because he was the only player to finish in the top 10 in points (26.4)/rebounds (12.4)/assists (9.0).

The bummer for all real NBA fans, not you- you're not a real fan of the league, is the rightful MVP didn't play enough games. Embiid was having a monster season.
