He had a pretty good career.....I never thought he'd play again after his first injury.

That was surprising because his knee was completely shattered and at that point it looked like he was going to lead the Clippers deep into the playoffs - He was never the same player again, but like you said - Being able to play in the NBA again was an amazing accomplishment. I can't think of any player in the NBA that I would consider more deserving of a championship title. The Warriors are going to miss his presence on the court more then they realize in my opinion

The fact that he was able to make it back to the NBA in any capacity was amazing.

But to make it back, have a long, solid career and be a 3-time champ is a miracle.

Obviously, he's not a hall of famer based on his numbers. But if you took his injury into account...you might be able to make a case.

I saw that injury live. I remember seeing it thinking "Fuck man, this kid just started". He put on grown man moves on everyone after that and proved if you believe, you can achieve, whatever the fuck that means lol.
