I do understand where you are coming from.

But what I get tired of hearing is how the NHL is bailing out the Coyotes, no one seems to give Phoenix any credit for this run in the playoffs, it immediately goes to Bettman.

Maybe I'm just use to hearing B&WF complain at how a good goalie is ridiculous way to win games. But instead of guys like Smith getting credit for doing a great job defending the goal, or Doan doing a good job of attacking, it's always, NHL bailing out Phoenix.

My guess is if this was any other team getting the non calls then it would be "whatever" but since it's Phoenix you get the "NHL owned team excuse"

Yotes are fighting for survival, I give them credit for doing what they can.

i will give the players tons of credit. as you said, their backs are against the wall and they are fighting for their lives. i don't mean to discredit the team in any way. they are playing hard (and smith is playing great) and they are taking advantage of the opportunities they are given. i just feel that they have been given a few too many powerplays compared to LA. it appears that something little would get called against LA, but if Phoenix does the same, it doesn't get called.

if i remember right that was back in 2010 playoffs against the sharks when they had something like a 4 to 1 powerplay advantage in the first 2 games and the joe did a promotion thing with tinfoil hats
