don't give up the hope just yet.
Joyner would be a solid pick for safety/dimeback

I like Joyner too. I think he is in play with our next pick.

I just don't see a safety before the first 5 round now though.

I don't think anyone else in this draft would start over Wilcox, or Church.

Still talent left on the d-line and I would be excited for a bunch of the players left.

Agreed, at best they would be on par with what we already have. If you're going to draft depth why not go with the line? Especially since we're already frighteningly thin at that spot?

As badly as I want a safety, I don't think we should take Joyner in the 2nd. Too many good DLineman available. At this point we need to stick with BPA. No reason to shift gears now.

If Joyner and Bailey are available in the 3rd round, I am all for it. But that doesn't seem realistic to me...

I would like to see what Johnson can do. He showed some promise in training camp. We still need another cover linebacker and safety. The last game was telling. We got tons of pressure on Foles and the Cowboys probably win the game if we had some decent guys back there. Heath blows.

I like Dontae Johnson from NC State. I could see him challenge for a starting spot in the back end.

Matt Johnson? Showed promise in TC? I don't remember that.

Really....you base this off film study or the so called expert opinions?
I like Wilcox as much as the next guy, but no way he's arrived.
Church is NFL average on his best day...least IMO he is

I have that same opinion

I'm not big on any safety on this team

The only guy I'd be happy with at safety at this point is Watkins

Agree. Especially about Church. It still makes me laugh that he was receiving Pro Bowl consideration last year. How any one could consider a member of the Dallas secondary for Pro Bowl is beyond me.

Wilcox, he is an athlete, no doubt about it. But can he play Safety?

I would love to give him a chance. It's Church I would like to see supplanted.

Church is a solid box safety. I don't understand why some are so down on him :noidea:

I just don't see anything special. I think Wilcox is a SS, just my humble opinion. And I think WIlcox will turn out to be much better than Church. I don't think we have a starting caliber FS on the team.
