What a finish for Dwade...you dont poke the bear...the bear, even an old one can still rip your head off.

Richardson was easily the Heats best bench player in this game.

If you're the Hornets, you got exactly what you hoped for.
Wade shooting 3's at the end of poorly run possessions.
For whatever reason, the shots went in.
If he launches 2 bricks, we're all here ripping him a new ass.

Teams are allowed to spend the same amount of money though. If a team won't spend the money, that's on their ownership and the fans should complain. If that doesn't work, then they should stop attending games, etc. until ownership improves or sells the team. A large part of the reason that the Lakers have generally always had to pay the luxury tax is because us Lakers fans will bitch like PMSing teenage girls if we don't have a competitive team for more than a couple of seasons.

If the problem is fan support, then they should move the team to a city that will support them.

Bottom line, with the NBA's popularity, revenue sharing, tv deals and teams getting money from luxury tax on teams that are over the cap...money is no longer a valid excuse for not putting together a competitive team.

Location isn't as big a deal anymore either because of the internet, faster, more comfortable modes of travel and with the money these guys make, they can afford off-season homes wherever they want them.

Location still helps, but not nearly as much as it used to. That's why we are seeing more "small market" teams becoming contenders.
I understand the opposing viewpoint and even agree with it to a certain extent, but some groups are wealthier than others and it gives them a distinct advantage. But I think you underestimate the power of location; both economically and socially.

Not a single 3 since December, not one? I guess I was right about his value to the team.

He doesn't shoot 3's. He knows his range. Its called being smart. It's the reason why he's been an efficient player for all of his career.

He reminds me of those idiots who think they have the right to disrupt Trump events. The people who came to see the game, be damned.

You sure it didn't have anything to do with being oh for his last 30?

Nope. Considering I watch every Heat game, pretty much none of those 3's he actually wanted to take. Almost all of them came on end of the quarter/end of the shot clock situations. Probably 5 of them at most he actually wanted to shoot. The 3's he shot last night he actually wanted to take. He got to practice early on Thursday and shot several 3's. Stayed after the practice and shot some more 3's. I absolutely love the way people always want Wade to shoot 3's. Why would he shoot 3's when it will make him a less efficient player? Does that make any sense. The logic behind it is so stupid. If Wade wanted to, he can shoot several 3's per game and would probably shoot in the very high 20's/low 30's. Who is that helping except for the Heat opponent.

Hey while we're at it lets force Dwight Howard and DeAndre Jordan to start taking several mid range jump shots every game

I have no interest in the Heat or their horrendous fan base so I will bow to your judgement on this one since you've seen every game.

Agree with this. The whole time watching the game, I felt bad for the people sitting behind him.

I noticed him since game 3. He's an annoying fuck. Hope the Heat put Charlotte out of their misery tomorrow so I don't have to see that tool until next season

Dude thinks he's the show and not the players. He interferes with others' ability to enjoy the game.

If the Heat win tomorrow, no matter what happens in round 2 I will consider this a successful season. If Bosh was here, I would have only been happy with making the ECF
