You never know, maybe ... Eagles are beat up like we are though, so both teams will be testing there depth... Also consider Russ has won 8 playoff games, Wentz has never won a playoff game as a starter, Russ has the edge experience wise...
Yes and wentz has a very large edge on whose playing better right now, so it levels out imho.

I think Seattle wins, but this is gonna be a good game and could go either way just my:2cents:

Russ is absolutely fantastic and can carry a team on his shoulders. One of my favorite non Eagles. Philly definitely struggles historically against Seattle. Kind of surprised the spread is so low. Excited for Sunday!

Seahawks have won the last 5 meeting and every game this decade vs Eagles.

Is that true. I can’t remember the year but I went to a game in Seattle where Philly won. Was that really over a decade ago? Damn time flies.

No, like the onside kick vs Seattle in the NFC title game, the OT loss to Arizona... twice. That’s three more Super Bowl trips if Rodgers hadn’t gotten screwed.

that's not called getting screwed, that's called playing on a team of chokers

Wentz has been something else these past 4 week though, in what Doug Pederson has been calling playoff games since the Eagles needed to win them to stay alive.

Decent amount of experience for the Eagles defense. The hope is that they can help carry the team.

Why would I trade a good young QB for a guy who is 10 years older and probably has 2-3 seasons left.

Why because the older one has proven to be a far better qb, by winning in the playoffs and a SB, while also being very durable....Therefore has a much better chance of taking a team to the big show than one who has never won a playoff game, or played a full season without missed games from multiple injuries....
That sounds like a pretty good reason to me.....
I like the Eagles, but they are not as good as the Seahawks and Wentz isn't as good as RW , let alone AR, not even close to his caliber....
I'm not saying he's a bad qb, just not in the elite class, that's all....Maybe he'll prove me wrong, 8 Ball Jackson did.....
Good Luck and Happy New Year !!!!!

Have to wait to see who's in for both teams before getting an idea of who I like in the game.

The Eagles haven't beaten anyone outside the NFC East since Nov 3rd so it's tough to tell if they have things patched together or it's just because they've been playing the NFC East.

Seahawks are pretty beat up with injuries too and their defense just hasn't been playing all that great recently. Not to mention their offense hasn't been great either.

Wentz has had a higher QBR than Rodgers the last 3 seasons. He also has the same number of playoff starts and wins as Rodgers in that time span. There is zero reason for the Eagles to want Rodgers over Wentz.

You’re putting too much thought into it. The Eagles will win.

Sorry OldSchool even though Rodgers is MUCH better Wentz is 10 years younger. Also you said Wentz never finished a complete season and that’s not true. He played an entire season year one, missed 4 games year two, missed games year three and played an entire season this year. Yes, Rodgers is more durable but Wentz has made it through 2 entire seasons of 4 while being really damn good the last month of this season.

Disagree. Rodgers is not “much better” than Wentz.

Over his career, I’m saying. I’m the resident Wentz fanatic and been ripped for being a blind homer. All I’m saying is today, Rodgers is a top QB ever and a 1st ballot HOFer. Wentz isn’t today.
Wentz has probably been the best QB in the NFL this December and was in 2017 til the injury.
