2010 AL East, Rays/Yankees/Red Sox had the top 3 records in the AL on August 27th (128/129 games in).I wonder when the last time ( since they went to 3 division ) that the 3 best records in one league were all in the same division this late in the season?? Season is 2/3 over
As 2011 showed us Its better to be ahead on sept 30th than august 9So thank you for the research idea. I think the answer would be the 2007 NL West, which had 3 best records in the NL after 162 games on September 30th. Padres and Rockies were technically tied with the Phillies with 89 wins.
Yep, Mets are a-comin. Huge series with the Pirates coming up, and they'll miss the best Pittsbugh pitchersInteresting for sure, got to think the Mets, Dodgers, Giants and Nationals will make things interesting in the race for the NL's 3 best records.
October is so much better when the Cubs are involved!
Someone doesn't remember the Cubs fans from the Disney board. October is just fine without the Cubs
This ain't ESPN though. I was a cbs'er so I can't speak on ESPN, the ones on the Hoop aren't bad. Not that I can tell. Now there's a couple dbag Cards fans though........
