A quick thought on Joe/Reed: They're basically same age as Duggar/Slater & both had an OPS well over .900 in high minors last year. If they had been drafted by Giants & played for River Cats last year, fans would have been screaming to see them in big leagues. Give this a chance.

Won't necessarily disagree with that. The more frustrating issue is having Parra, Sandoval/Slolarte and Kratz over guys like Williamson, Shaw and Garcia. If this team is going to be crap, at least let the younger guys flail away together instead of over the hill vets.
