Schmitt goes yard again and is batting .458 on the spring (after 2 ABs today).

I stand behind my opinion that he does not make the team out of spring, but 3B may be his sooner rather than later. Maybe SS. And it looks like he can be a regular at either spot on a moving forward basis. Not sure we can count on Luciano being the cant-miss stud that we were promised…

Wyatt is another guy with his days numbered in the org. Cannot stay healthy, doesn't hit when he is and, I don't know about his defensive reputation, but he is pretty much a classic 1st baseman only, so this kind of play cannot help him.
