G's 2.5 back, 3 gms out in the lost column
Only hth series w/ teams in front are 3gms @ Cubs next series and 4gms @ STL (W.C. leader) starting 9/2

DickDick is back, bully likely to improve, and Lil' Yaz is the 2nd coming of Mr. RedSox

Not out of the reach if we get a streak going

But none of them have that big of a lead on us.

Crawford has lost both bat speed and foot speed, and his hitting reflects that. Nothing negative about the evaluation, other than BCraw's stats and continued sukkitude at the plate. Even his defense has suffered, as he is near a career low of .971 fielding percentage.

what i've noticed, and i don't have stats to back it up, is contact with risp seems to have plummeted. a few years ago craw was most locked in at the plate with runners on. now it's a flail-fest
