That made the win more impressive imo. They beat the caps playing Washington's game tonight .

After this win, we clearly have a psychological edge over the Capitals. We get Letang back for game 5 while the Caps will still be without Orpik. On top of that, I think Maatta's injury makes the Pens better (both Pouliot & Schultz look better than Maatta).

Was very proud of the way the Pens put the Rangers away in 5 the last series, will be HUGE to put the Caps away in 5 also

Matt Murray is top 3 in every major goalie stat in the playoffs...

Those are some amazing playoff numbers, especially for a 21 year old rookie.

Most remarkable thing about Matt Murray for his age is his consistency...

He's played 20 games and he's only had 2 games where his save percentage was less than 90% and/or he gave up more than 3 goals (we are 1-1 in those games, with the loss coming in overtime). He gives us a chance to win every game and that's really all a team could ask of their goalie.
