It should always be part of the story of his career yes. Doesn't mean he's scum today no.

Stuff happens that is part of your story forever. We always talk about AI stepping over Ty Lue. Pippen refusing to go in at the end of a playoff game. Kobe and whatever happened in Colorado. These things don't define the totality of these players but they are part of the story.

I'd like to see TH-T get some run, but he's too green for the playoffs. I can just imagine the rookie mistakes he would make out there, especially on defensive assignments. We have thankfully been mostly spared Waiters and JR this round, although I'd rather see Waiters of the two (and of course he's the one that's banged up).

I'd like to see him get some run too. But that's only likely to happen in a blowout and I don't think we're gonna see too many of those the rest of the way.

If memory serves, they got Waiters just before everything shut down. So they never got a chance to find a spot in the rotation for him.

I wouldn't mind seeing them bring him back next year and see if he can fit into the offense.

As for JR...he's a knucklehead, but he's hit some big time shots in the playoffs and finals (plus Lebron likes him). If he can come in and give them a little bit of an offensive spark a time or 2 along the way, he's paid for himself.

If not, he's got a short leash, so at least he won't have taken minutes from anyone.

The Lakers went small and are playing strong defense in the second half for the second straight game. Laker fans knew all along the playoffs would likely force more AD at the 5. Playoff Rondo making up for the lack of quality guard play on the current roster.

That said, 'going small' probably not the best description, maybe going smaller, since ...

The Lakers had ..

6'10" for 26 min
6'9" for 36 min
6'8" for 14 min

Compared to the Rockets ..

6'8" for 16 min
6'5" for 33 min
6'3" for 30 min

Than normal of course, as compared to the Rockets.
