Should be a fun series. Clippers showed in the first round that they may not be "the same ol' Clippers" but it's still only the first round. This will be another test for them.

Rockets in 6.
I really don't think Dwight Coward and his cronies are good enough to beat the Clippers. I think the Clippers are just a little deeper

ROCKETS in 5 or 6

The Clippers are dead tired. They almost got grinded by the Spurs deeper roster.

Houston is just as deep as San Antonio who will come at them in waves.

And CP3 will be forced to play defense further exhausting himself.

He never really had to play defense versus the Spurs....Parker was hurt..and he did not need to chase Green who is more easy to stick with.
The only way the Clippers lose is if Chris Paul doesn't play

This team is not Dwight and his cronies, it is now Harden and his cronies.
You do realize that the Rockets won the last two of their meetings to even the season series at 2-2. Chris Paul played in those games, though Howard did not.
I would say that neither team is particularly deep, but you don't need to go 10 deep in the playoffs. I'd say the bench is about a wash (a lot depends on what Josh Smith shows up).
Chris Paul's hamstring and Jordan staying out of early foul trouble are key to this series. If Paul is hobbled I thin Houston wins, if healthy it should be close. As much as I would love to see the Clippers take them down, I think the Rockets will advance. It should be fun to watch.

I think that SA series could either take the steam out of the Clip or just motivate them more here on out. We will we see. Houston is not very good defensively and the Clip have shown they can play some D at times. I like the Clip over the Rockets in either 6 or 7. This should be a good series as well.

Houston is ranked #6 in defensive efficiency during the regular season according to Hollinger's stats, slipping to #10 in the playoffs. Both are higher than the Clippers #15 regular season and #12 in the playoffs.

huh, I didnt know that. I guess Hardens' defense makes the whole team look bad. All the games I watch are so high scoring. I guess Ariza and D12 are really good defenders

I like Houston here. CP3 is going to be hampered by this hammy issue for awhile. Those injuries can linger. The Clippers have no chance without a healthy CP3.

I wouldn't be surprised if game 1 is a blowout. A big let down after an emotional series win isn't unexpected.

Regular season means nothing in the playoffs buddy - This Clippers team graduated from little boys to men in the first round of the playoffs. That simple

Remains to be seen. Sure, they didn't "go Clipper" like they usually do, but if they lose this series, they still will have never gotten past the 2nd round.

I'm assuming you haven't watched many Clipper games since the trade?

And especially the 1st round of the playoffs?

I watched every game in the playoffs. he had a miracle performance in game 3. he has sucked every other game

I bet the Allstate twin brother version of Austin Rivers is actually a better basketball player than Austin Rivers.

I like the Clippers chances if they get Chris Paul back healthy - without him I think they are screwed.
