I don't think that's entirely true...

... but to the extent that it is, I think the lack of Stevens blame is based on 2 main factors:

1.) Stevens is riding many years of good results and good coaching coming into this season.

2.) Kyrie is a big story and a lightning rod for criticism in this situation... Kyrie casts a big shadow and that effect is sapping a lot of attention that might otherwise be given to others.

1. Agreed, but we had a coach here who beat a 73-win team and the only team he lost to in the playoffs was one many think is the best ever. He was blamed for the losses (no credit for the wins, of course).

2) Agreed and it's refreshing seeing a player held accountable.
