So impossible for teams to get better over 2 years?

They were +12 wins better than the .500 mediocre squad who the Warriors swept 2 years ago.

Their bench was almost completely different than it is now.

But yeah I'm done arguing with someone who doesn't think there is a difference between a team that went .500 to a team that finished 24 games over .500

No not impossible but Portland hasn't improved enough to win & it's VERY possible for them to be swept in the next round. And to your point of getting better you don't think it's possible GS also improved??
And I'm done pointing out to you they're not above being swept as they're basically the same core.

Nurkic didn't come until some point during the season via trade late in the season (only played 20 games). Played a total of 17 minutes in that series due to injury. Their backup C was Meyers Leonard who is a bench warmer these days.

It isn't the same team by any stretch.

You don't go from 41 wins to 53 wins in the tough western conferences in 2 years without getting much better

The point was he was on that team. And like I said, this is basically the same team with a couple of exceptions in different players. SMH
