according to Cavs' beat reporter Chris Fedor he does not think Mitchell will go.......be so Cleveland if Allen returned only to have Mitchell out.

Like a continuation of the Browns season.
Cleveland is just the most cursed sports town. Buffalo is close but they have fewer teams to be cursed.

Does the 2016 NBA title even put a dent in that?

Cursed still without a doubt but at least us fans have that one championship to hang onto. The Browns winning a SB would be the ultimate prize to Cleveland

very least it puts the Cavs on a different level of....uh.....cursedom than the Browns and Tribe?
Well sure, can't call the Cavs cursed anymore, between getting to draft LeBron and him getting them a title.

But does one title (we already went over my thoughts on the Cavs ever winning again) erase a city's curse? Buffalo has never won anything (but only 2 sports).

Well they say Detroit is still cursed and they have a WS title in the 2000's so not it does not erase it. I guess you could go by sports, so maybe the Indians and the Browns. Like I said before, if the Browns won a title I don't think there would be any talks about CLE in that cursed discussion.
Baseball is different, you don't have a cap. Small market teams that don't spend are less likely to win. It happens though.

Not even...last title for the Tigers was 1984

What Detroit does have is NBA titles in 1989 and 1990 and 2004, and NHL titles in the 90s and 00s, so not cursed

NBA kind of the same, no? Small market teams less likely to win but it happens

NFL is where market size has no bearing, thanks to the hard cap

Whoops, Tigers made it. The White Sox won it

Then it is by sport bc the Lions are cursed. I really just think it is the Browns that are cursed.

I think the NBA is different bc if you draft one superstar it means so much to a roster. You can't do that in NFL or MLB. I mean I guess a QB but one player can only carry a team so far. Teams like MIL, ORL, MIN- they drafted superstars and they are contending.

Yes!! while the cavs parade was amazing I told my son if the Browns just played in the AFCCG the excitement would dwarf the Cavs.

Think the difference between MLB and NBA is if you spend in MLB you can attract the FAs. In NBA usually only a select amount of cities.....and as you allude players will go where they can get paid in NFL. Doesn't matter where.

Let’s recap Boston likely run to the finals

No Jimmy or Rozier for round 1
No Allen in this series and Mitchell miss this game and probably game 5
Knicks will be without 2 starters and another rotation player

The internet would be going crazy if any LeBron team had it this easy
