Mitchell definitely wants to go......Mitchell hates his teammates......Mitchell will leave as soon as he can. No wait, Mitchell is staying (some are saying this) and Garland wants out.

I'm guessing each is playing it how they should and these are just guesses.

This is a hell of a lot different than other sources. Sounds like a scenario of “we will fire you if there is a better candidate out there” situation

It's almost like no one really knows with all these conflicting reports about JB, the players, etc.

I mean worst case I think they could easily get Ingram if they were interested. For Allen or Garland but I guess it depends on who becomes available on the market. You really just never know these days. A 2-way wing is obviously needed badly but nobody can have enough wings so that is tough. I think Allen has great value but I want CLE to keep him. Garland still has very nice value, probably not nearly as much as a couple years ago though

considering how we play with and without allen I think we'd really need to be overwhelmed to deal him. Don';t see him and Garland in a deal for Ingram and others. Just opened another hole.

From an evaluation stand point, the Cavs got no help with the way this broke. 7 games to the Magic and then lose to Celtics in 5. I think most playoff teams end up with similar outcomes so it’s hard to assess where they really are. Then you have the injuries which make it even more difficult.

Yes...tough to evaluate this series at all when it comes to the coach or what we can do at full strength. IF JB is let go that means they already knew they were moving on....which is fine.

we needed shooters and he was a career 40% shooter. Was something like 12-26 in playoffs last year. Just had an awful series.

Not even sure that's true as seems like he likes his teammates and was thrilled when he heard he was coming here (not a rumor but a true story)......but no doubt that helps.

no....and really I'm not sure where he can go he's be sure team could be better than Cavs once roster is depleted to trade for him or to clear cap room to sign him.

Philly could work IF he was available this year.....though they have Maxey and might have other needs. Not available anyway so doesn't matter.

Have to say I liked Lloyd a lot better when he was with the ABJ and not a hot take guy looking for clicks.

Improved yet again with a ton of injuries but need to dump 2/5ths of our starters for losing to the best team without 3 of our top 5 scorers?

Not crazy about that Spurs deal. Keldon, picks + salary. They can get more for Garland.

No chance I'm trading Allen for Ingram. Garland? I'd consider. I still trust this FO so IF they want to do it then have at it....better be right.

Yeah heard this one, too. Would love to know which ones. Was it teammates and were they also frustrated Mitchell and Levert did not play? Is it the coach they are allegedly dumping? someone in the FO, a doc or trainer?

Yep.

Keldon is a pretty solid addition at a position of need (plus picks and whatever salary they need to include for the deal to match up) for Garland.....who is pretty undesireable to Cavs fans right now. LOL.

Luckily this FO does not care what irrational fans think. But if they think Garland for Johnson and others plus a high pick is worth it then have at it.
