Their are a few teams who have a better top player than Tatum.

How many have a better #2 than Brown?

3, 4, 5 than White, Holliday, Porzingas?

And quality depth beyond that.

They should be dominating. They are the most talented team in the league by a pretty decent margin.

So lazy to just vote for the coach of the team with the best record. In this case I don’t think Mazz has a lot to do with that.

There are only so many shots taken in a game. Teams with lesser talent rely on one or two guys to take most of them. Boston wins by playing team ball. Oh and actually playing team D. Boston has the luxury when one player is off the rest of the team can pick up the slack.

Call your GM and tell him to draft and trade better.

Not much evidence he brings anything to the table either though.

It is working. Not saying he should lose his job. Celtics could still win a title.

But I am confident in saying Mazula is not the reason why.

I think it’s the NBA and all the coach has to be is competent. You don’t need Red Auerbach to win a championship when you have the best roster. First do no harm. You need a competent staff that can assess what’s going on and facilitate the players working it out on the floor.
