so a punch = push? That isn’t a good precedent for the league. What Hunter was over the top but Mathurin has been chippy all series. In the end, Turner and Hunter should have the same penalty and they did. I don’t care where the punch is…it’s still an intentional punch

You said what Turner did was equal to what Hunter did.

It was clearly not.

Hunter went after Mathurin pointed at him and pushed him hard. Then, he continued walking toward Mathurin like he was looking for more after Mathurin flopped.

Turner saw what happened, saw Hunter moving toward his teammate and ran up to knock Hunter off course and get between the two players.

After he made sure Hunter was done coming for him, he turned and helped Mathurin up.

Hunter escalated the incident that could have easily become a fight.

Turner was closer to a peacemaker than what Hunter did.
