2nd Pick

I've got the 2nd pick overall in a 14 team league; .5 ppr, .1 rushing attempts, .05 pass attempt (everything else fairly standard). I'm looking at picking McCoy but if he's taken who would be the best? I'm leaning between Forte, Lacy and Ball although that seems risky.

I was in the same position and took Peterson since McCoy went 1st... I bought into the Norv Turner offense hype train. I think either Charles or AP should be your pick if McCoy is gone. The 3 you mentioned are a bit of a stretch at #2 overall. Maybe not... But Since it is a 14-team league I wouldn't risk the gamble.

Charles was targeted 104 times in Reid's offense compared to McCoy's 65 targets. Charles is also the featured goalline back since he's essentially the focal point of that offense. McCoy did have more yards.

As for AP, I agree that his targets could change under Turner the way he used LT in SD. I don't have target stats, but Tomlinson did average about 71 receptions.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of these 3. Comes down to personal preference.

charles since its ppr, and ap in turners offence is slightly unknown.

i would risk it in a 10-12 team leage...........

but in a 14 with pick #2, you better hit that pick or your done......

i like ap's upside better but take charles.

Pointless exercise. With Ben and McCown on the free agent list, Dalton has 0 trade value. Those guys are just as good and can be had for free. I say suck it up and make the drop.

There's not too many players left to be had with a 14 team league, at this point I can wait and see who starts the season out but even sleepers and reaches discussed here have already been taken.
