I'm not arguing that Montana and Unitas could be 1-2 when it comes to quarterbacks that have played. I'm saying that using something that is controlled by the fans voting usually doesn't end with the best results as there is more bias that goes into that than actual thought or research. Now sometimes the fans can get it right but can you honestly at this point say that McNabb of all quarterbacks deserved to be in the top 4?


Now yes everything on here is fan opinion so you can say what you want. Using other fans to back up your point though to me doesn't bode well for credibility of an argument. Your 2nd source was much better.

There is nothing anyone could possibly post that would "prove" any opinion on this topic. As I stated before, I would hope that people's opinions are based on more than a couple of lists.

Fair enough. I didn't remember I had said that. I wasn't serious, but I can see how you would think I was. My bad.

To be fair though...I also asked when I could bring Joe Flacco into the conversation. I'm pretty sure people didn't take me seriously with that.

To be honest, I just skipped to the final round. Now...if someone was using it to support an opinion that McNabb was a top 4 QB in the history of the NFL, I would be more on board with the bitching about it. As it is...it just seems a little irrelevant. My opinion is certainly based on much more than a couple of lists (as I would hope most others' are as well). I really just posted that in good fun and certainly didn't expect or hope to change anyone's opinion with it.

It is irrelevant, everyone with the football IQ of a snail knows Montana and Unitas are the 2 best ever, and then there are the rest.....How did you like our pics, Money ?
