2nd Annual NBA Over/Under Wins Contest

Here we go again, let's do this. Same rules as last year:

1. Pick 3 teams that will go over their projected win totals and 3 teams that will go under their projected win total.
2. For each correct pick you will get 1,000 points plus you get an extra 100 points for every additional win or loss above or below the total.
3. I will post results along the way, every 10 games or so.

I'm doing a random entry again since I don't really care about this sport anymore.

My random one last year was similar looking to this. It had Bulls over which was a slight win and also Rockets + Clippers under which both flopped. Like last time all 3 of my overs were in the East, all 3 of my unders were in the West. It only ended up respectable looking because of Memphis.

Honestly very few jump out at me these numbers look pretty good. Unders you need an injury usually.

Went ahead and did the random team, last years 2nd place team. I did it just like last year using a random number generator alternating between over and under. Here are the results.

Hahahaha. I would love the Pistons over, but i think that they nailed it at 24.5 The team will be better due to coaching and health, but remember opponents played their reserves heavily last season against Detroit and really only had to put in about a quarter's worth of quality basketball to win games. So, this year they have to play their starters for an entire half, still a rest night and scheduled W.

I think about the Pistons over every year and it seems to get worse. 20, 20, 23, 17, 14...I get most of those were Casey and JB should be a hell of a better coach than him or Monty but we will see.

Yeah hard to see any obvious mispricings. Honestly just random picks has as good a shot as any as we saw last year LOL
