Wishlists are what get people pissed off. Better of just sitting back and try to figure out what the big picture looks like pick by pick. About a month ago Mayhew said he thought there was 4-5 "elite" prospects. Either Ebron was one of those or they had him graded in the 2nd tier with 10-15 other prospects. They want a Graham style TE and grabbed one. I wanted Safety help because after the top 2-3 the talent drops off. Hopefully I'm wrong and they pull a Warford on us.

Bottom Line is, we make ourselves crazy as we watch guys we want get drafted before us or slide passed us.

Here's to just watching...:suds:

Excellent advice. I'll just expect them to trade up to select a RB in the 2nd round, and I won't be pissed when they actually do it.

Can you have visitors in your padded room? I've got my own straightjacket.

You read my mind. That is exactly what I was going to post. The icing on the cake of the first round yesterday was watching Minnesota draft Barr, Chicago draft Fuller and Green Bay draft Clinton-Dix.

It is tough to be a Lions fan sometimes.

If you only knew how crazy I was going after watching Watkins...then Evans...then Gilbert come off one by one.

Ealy, Lawrence and Van Noy make tons of sense. Sua- Filo wouldnt be bad. Dont be surprised to see Lee or Adams drafted.

Lol. So now the Lions should've drafted Fuller? I'll take Ebron to win that match-up. Nothing special about Dix as i said before. Ten wouldve been a reach.

It made me laugh watching the good teams in the NFL draft defense over and over, while the Lions drafted a TE. And no I'm not saying Minnesota is a good team.

After the top 20 picks -- the only team who drafted an offensive player without a trade is Carolina, who had no WR's at all on their roster. Every other team drafted defense, sans Minny, who traded back in with Seattle.

Is it a coincidence that out of the teams with the best 11 records in the NFL, 10 of 11 drafted defense? The only one who didn't was the team who had one of the best defenses in the league already and everyone coming back (Carolina)

Guys keep an eye out for Pierre Desir from Lindenwood. Small school kid, but potential pick in round 2

Ummm...are you not paying attention to what was supposed to happen during the first round? It went pretty much as expected. Rhere was supposed to be a run on offensive players early, while some of the other defenders would go from the mid down.

LOL. AS I WRITE THIS, BRIAN BALDINGER FROM PATH TO THE DRAFT JUST SAID EBRON WAS HIS FAVORITE PICK OF THE ROUND AND SAID DETROIT WILL BE VERY, VERY DIFFICULT TO DEFEND.

LOLOLOL
