Cal is looking good. Wallace, Matthews and Bird are all very talented and they have an experienced big man in Kravish that does the dirty work. Them, UCLA, Utah and Colorado are probably the other 4 tourney teams in the Pac with Stanford on the bubble.

They have flown under the radar a bit, I didn't realize they were returning that much talent.

It's going to take more than a win over Syracuse to convince me they're for real. No doubt they looked very good tonight, but Cuse is going to be down this year. Now if they can beat Texas, that's another story.

Nah, they're good. How good remains to be seen, but they beat us last year in Berkley (game where B.Ashley broke his foot) on a game winner. It's a tough place to win... they've got some shooters and Kravish is a beast. Plus their two stud freshman return (Bird and Matthews) along with Tyron Wallace. I really didn't realize they brought back those four guys and have a 7 foot freshman off the bench. They could be a sleeper team this year.

I wouldn't be surprised if Wisconsin handled them, but I also wouldn't be surprised if Cal pulled off an upset. Like you said though, we'll get a better idea of how good they really are against Texas.
