At Dev camp Jarmo said both sides want a 5-6 year deal they are just a little away on money. He was confident it gets done soon and he is very excited to be playing in Finland this year with Laine headlining the games.

Laine himself told a Finnish newspaper he "isn't worried" and loves Columbus and is looking forward to staying here.

It's been around off and on all year. Since Jarmo doesn't say anything, reporters often try to talk for him and put words in his mouth. I expect them to be quiet unless a 1C somehow wants to sign with a rebuilding team for cheap.
