No big deal here and saving 3.5M isn't a big issue. Maybe they can divide between 2 or 3 potential FAs to help offset the MA millionaires tax.

According to Phil Perry the highlighted 10 players may be getting cut before free agency opens. He didn't say anything about more cuts, but Godchaux surprised me. Maybe because he's the second highest paid guy who really didn't play up to it last year?? That would up the cap by $12M.

He apparently does not fit new defensive scheme and we informed him he can seek a trade.....

So based on this and I would be cool if it went this way. A more athletic aggressive style of D Linemen instead of lethargic fat bodies?

I didn't see him as lazy. But Vrabel wants a much faster D. He wasn't going to cut it.

Nobody is going to give anything for him and his contract at 31.
Especially, knowing we would cut him soon.....
