I would love to have him, doubt he makes it out of the top 10. I'm figuring 6-11 or 7-10 this year so it will be close
Jeanty is going to come in and immediately be a top 5 back IMO. Cowboys probably going to win too many games to draft him. Fuck!
From what I have seen so far, most draft guys think that last year's class is much stronger than this year. Hunter, Jeanty and Graham are the only 3 from this year's class that most people think would have gone in the top 10-12 of last year's class so I would feel great about any of those 3. My hope is that 3-4 QB's go in the top 10 and drive either Jeanty or Graham down to usGraham is the guy I want. I don't think Jerry will take an OL again because it would open himself up to criticism for either drafting Guyton or giving a huge deal to Steele and protecting his reputation is Jerry's biggest concern. I also really like the South Carolina safety and also the Georgia safety even though he wasn't great yesterday.
But I would be ok with Jeanty. I'll probably unfairly (one way or the other) put more weight on and judge him on his next game than his entire career. We probably won't be picking in the top 10 so a lot of everyone's top choices will likely be gone and this team never seems interested in trading up.
They are still in striking distance for a top 10 pick. The offense struggled a little the last two games to put up points . They almost let Lock come back . Now they face Burrow. From what I have seen so far, most draft guys think that last year's class is much stronger than this year. This is a real Toss up game. They are not real good and we are at home but the QB's are Joe Burrow vs Cooper Rush lol. They are still in striking distance for a top 10 pick. The offense struggled a little the last two games to put up points . They almost let Lock come back . Now they face Burrow.
Rooting hard for us to win, even if it hurts us in the draft. If I actually had to get hard earned money on the last 5 games straight up, the only game I would throw money down on Dallas would be Carolina. But they have a shot on 4 of the games IMO. Funny thing about this week is, I think if Dallas wins it will be a close score, if the Bengals win I think it will be bigI like you guys enthusiasm but I dont see us really having much of a chance to win this game. probably under 30% chance.
No quitters please3 to 1 to get Tyreek Hill. Not understanding how Vegas came up with this.
He did?LOL, Jerry j said for MC to go ahead and interview. He doesn't want anyone around who wants to be someplace else. The plot thickens.
This is about the lowest point for me. It's one thing to have a crappy year or even a few in a row but I always felt the team was at least trying to improve. I always thought even though he is incompetent and his own worst enemy and the main reason this team always loses that Jerry at least wanted to win and would do whatever it took. Now I realize he doesn't care about winning. He cares about perception and making money. He'd rather have a team that can't concentrate as wave after wave of people come through "The Star" while the players are trying to work out. He'd rather have a team that is made up of his buddies than sign actual good players from other teams or let his favorite players go. He'd rather have the sun blind his players during the game and impact wins and losses than admit the design of his stadium is flawed. He'd rather double down and make his coaches keep playing guys like Zeke instead of admitting he screwed up the entire offseason by signing him instead of the many actual good players that were available and thinking he could still play at a high level even though EVERYONE knew it was a mistake. He'd rather re-sign his HC who has had nothing but horrible efforts in the biggest of games than make a decision on who else he should hire and actually pony up big $'s to sign someone. He'd rather save money than bring in top free agents that might have put us over the edge even after proclaiming for all to hear that he was "all in". Worst of all, he'd rather continue to destroy this team from the inside by making decisions about football himself and in conjunction with his son than admit he is incompetent and the biggest reason we have won nothing of any value in 3 decades. Fuck you Jerry and your stupid son as well.
Spring is coming my Brother. That brings bluebonnets and young women in short skirts sunshine and drives in a convertible & all things are possible in a new year. Don’t let Jerry grinch your joy and love of the Cowboy’s. Send that Sorry sumabitch a letter telling him how you feel and enjoy the wonderful feeling of release when you drop it in the mailbox. Hell the old grillized bassturd might even read it & reply. This is about the lowest point for me. The last game was not on tv here. And for the first time ever I did not make any attempt to watch the rebroadcast on the NFL app. I am losing interest. One more poor off-season will insure me hardly watching games. I am just told old for Jerry's nonsense. This is about the lowest point for me.
