So you guys are ok with drafting a qb in the 5th round in hopes that he pans out two years down the road to be our qb? What are the odds a 5th rounder pans out? That sounds like a horrible plan…

Thats the thing about "THIS" QB draft class. There is some talent in the middle and it's thick. Lots of these guys showed a lot and could grow into the position. Not deep at all for top line talent but the 2nd level talent in THIS draft is as deep as i have ever seen. This draft there will be 3rd round and later QB's that will end up having success and i wouldnt at all be shocked if there is 4 or 5 guys that stick around in the NFL as a starter or back-up from the middle of this draft. They just need time and if they get it then who knows what happens.

Some people have talked about Leonard and Allar, for those people they get to see both on the 9th. Then you got Howard and Ewers on the 10th. Everyone put on your scouts cap and DVR the games for your own personal scouting reports lol.

Allar is staying for his senior and Ewers was offered 6mil. Not sure if it's an NIL to stay at Texas or transfer to another University.

What if the Hawks offer Geno and DK to the Raiders for O'Connell and 2 second round picks? lol

Lockett wants to come back and I 100% say do it. Restructure him and let him retire as a Seahawk. He still has it but Geno just ignores him as he focus on 1 WR way to much. The all 22 is your friend. Lockett could have had 20-30 more catches this year easy IF they wanted to go that way. I get they got JSN and DK but if you trade DK then yeah Lockett here in 2025 and maybe 2026 to retire i am 100% down with.

If you bring in a young QB then you HAVE to resign Lockett in my mind. The perfect piece to help a Young QB out with quick passes. Him and JSN.

How? The only 1-5th round QB he picked was polished, Athletic, NFL ready and undersized.

So me saying "He doesn't fit the type of QB that JS picks" would also fit. I bet if it was between Leonard and Dart he picks Dart.

If we choose a QB they will need a few years to sit and learn so who is the bridge QB with upside? It's not Geno.
He wanted mahomes and josh allen, Leonard is 6'4 and athletic but he isnt polished hence why i said 5th round.

Just a prediction, i dont think Leonard is going to be a day 1 starter. There may not be a day 1 starter in this draft.

Yeah maybe, that whole comment feels dubius to me, Why did we not hear about it before? They WOULD have mentioned this before with out a doubt. Yeah lol and the timing of that comment from JS.. yeah lol

In this draft there SHOULDN'T be a day one starter but just like EVERY year, there are desperate teams out there and they will continue to start QB's that are not ready and then ruin them lol.

I could see them extending geno and taking a middle round QB and hoping they win the lottery like they did with wilson.
I don't expect any big moves.

There are a lot of teams that are going to be pushing hard for a QB this offseason. The Jets, Browns, Giants, and Titans are all CERTAIN to be looking to get a QB. The Raiders, Colts, and Saints could also be looking for one.

Given the paucity of QBs available in the draft, the market for QBs is going to be pretty strong. I suspect that we will see guys like Milroe, Beck and Leonard move up the draft during the offseason.

I would expect that to happen. Think we need to accept that the Seahawks are stuck with an unexciting, meh at QB for another season. That's what the Seahawks signed up for when they resigned Geno and used the draft capitol from the RW trade else where. Hopefully next season gives the Seahawks better options at QB.

I could definitely see them taking a stab one of those mid tier QBs

Seahawks haven’t taken a QB in the first or 2nd round for 32 years ! Thats pretty crazy … Last 2 Qb’s they took were Dan McGwire and Rick Mirer, both busts …

Hawks signed a bunch of players to future contracts and it reminded be about LB Jamie Sheriff! He looked good in the preseason, maybe he can take a step forward and become something this year. I was shocked when he didnt make the team this past year to be honest.

god i wish we still had our 2 2nd round picks. This stings because we sure do need it now. Need oline help need another Linebacker both at around that 2nd round level. As much as i like Knight i am not sold he will be more than a average starter at best, To often he just vanishes. Jones is fine but what does he think his value is? Because if he wants top money he is crazy. Good Linebacker sure but not top 10 of the league good.
