Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Indiana Pacers

The longer the the Starseries goes, the more I like Indiana's chances. I will pick Cleveland to win, but if it goes 7 then I think Indiana wins. Cleveland's 3 point defense isn't good. I will take them for their overall defense.

Cavs in 5 (1, 2, 3, 5)

Boston Celtics vs. New York Knicks

New York can't keep up with Boston's 3s.

Celtics in 4

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Denver Nuggets

I don't like a Thunder team with one offensive All Star. However, Hartenstein might be the 2nd most important player in the series. I will take the Thunder but the longer it goes, the better chance Denver has. I think Jokic is the best player in the series. I don't know what to expect from Murray, Braun, Porter Jr. Maybe Murray gets in foul trouble.

Thunder in 6 (1, 3, 4, 6)

I meant Hartenstein 2nd most important for the Thunder.

I don’t pay as much attention to other teams as I could, I don’t predict often, and I do think Boston wins, but I’d say it’s not a sweep. It would not overly surprise me if it is a sweep, but I usually presume one win for every Devon rounder. Yes, I know sweeps exist.

I like reading your comments and/or predictions.

2010 was the funny year. We had 3 sweeps in the 2nd round.

When the 2012 Jazz played the Spurs, someone predicted that not only would the Spurs sweep, but that the Jazz wouldn't even have a lead during the games.

The Jazz lead for 3:49 in game 1, 6:08 in game 3, 2:55 in game 4.

I wonder where that ranks for least amount of time leading in games while being swept.

Golden State Warriors vs. Minnesota Timberwolves:

Minnesota is a better road team, so don't like them if this goes 7. Since they would have home court, but don't think they are that great at home in elimination games.

But overall, they are more versatile and have more size.

I don't think this will necessarily happen, but I hope it does. I hope Rudy Gobert has a great series and outplays Draymond Green.

I want to say Minnesota in 5, but that's boring, so I'll say Minnesota in 4.

Denver Nuggets vs. Oklahoma City Thunder:

Changing my pick.

I initially had OKC winning.

There's a lot of reasons where I think Denver could struggle. Porter Jr. and Jamal Murray are inconsistent.

BUT, the biggest reason for them is that they have a great player at the center spot.

I don't know if Denver will double Gilgeous-Alexander, but they should.

Reasons to pick OKC include their versatility, especially with size. But sometimes things don't play out like they could.

It will be hard for Denver to keep Gilgeous-Alexander under 11 FTAs a game.

I wanted to make another non boring pick and say Denver in 5, but probably picking Denver in the first place makes it non boring.

Hmm.

Ok I'll do it.

Denver in 5, Oklahoma City wins game 2.

Should this be in the "You Don't Have To Make Your Free Throws" thread?

12 seconds left in regulation.

Haliburton to the FT line. 116 - 119 Cleveland leading.

He makes the first.

Misses the 2nd accidentally.

Gets the rebound, then hits the game winning 3 pointer!
