Back for the draft and the rest of the leadup to the 2024-25 season.

It all starts tonight.

And yes, the Dolphins need to find their franchise QB still - it can happen in this draft if they so choose.

I really like what the Fins did in the draft. They added players with lots of potential. It shows confidence in their coaches to help these players develop. The Fins also added additional speed at RB.
They drafted two good WRs. Therefore, it surprised me that they still added WR Beckham Jr. As I think about it though the Fins now have quality depth at WR. They now have a proven veteran also at the position. he could be one of the best 3rd options in the NFL.

Paolo, I know that Tua hasn't proven it in the playoffs yet but he was very productive in the regular season. To me he has shown potential to produce in the system. (I am not looking to debate about Tua, I recognize that he has more to prove)

I am expecting the Fins to win the division this year. They would host a playoff game in Miami rather than potentially playing in frostbite conditions again like last year.

Fins have potentially a very good draft.
They made good selections and isn't that all you can expect?

I think Paul in the 2nd round was a bit of a reach, I do like Wright in 3rd round, but the RB and WR room is pretty crowded with the 2 WR picks. Think they more on the D side and O line.

If Armstead stays healthy especially early in the season, the LT position could be alright. Paul has great size, reach, and athleticism for the position. The coaches and Armstead himself could really help Paul to develop.

They still may add an OG and or safety after June 1st. If Cam Smith takes the next step at CB that could really help the situation.

LT Paul is in an excellent situation. He will get lots of reps because Armstead doesn't need to practice much and he still performs at a very high level. Paul has the tools to develop into a starting LT. Armstead is a total team guy. He will be a great mentor to have.
