Legette looks like a YAC guy to me. Put him on the Chiefs or Niners and I think he could be a star but ask him to run routes and do things downfield...not so sure. I could see a situation where one of those teams trades down and picks him up somewhere in the top part of rd2. He doesn't look rd1 to me.

Odunze seems like the Alt of the WR prospects. I'd put them in the same tier as prospects even though they're different positions. Good size and technique. Nothing terribly flashy but probably going to be in the league for a decade at an important position.

Roman Wilson stuck his foot in the door for an early draft slot with his Senior Bowl week. He probably jumped from a 4th rounder into the 2nd.
Good pick. Don't worry -- I will be adding more prospects based on your suggestions and the how the combine and pro days go.

I'm guessing the Chiefs might be choosing between Franklin, Worthy and Mitchell.

All of the mocks seem to be pointing towards Franklin but Worthy seems higher risk/reward. The allure of the Chiefs getting an elite speed player with Worthy seems great assuming that his weight isnt a dealbreaker.

I think Troy Franklin is going to just as good as those ranked ahead of him. Strong class of receivers this year. Franklin is one of my draft pet cats.. I doubt he makes it to the 2nd round, especially after the Combine. The knock on Franklin is the route running, which I agree with. His potential as a deep threat is what I like.
Please drop to the Browns in the 2nd

I'm seeing both Franklin and Legette rising within the WR ranks. Depending of course on how they fare at the combine or pro days, it wouldn't surprise me that they end up being the 4th & 5th receivers taken in the draft. which also means they're 1st round candidates.

Steve Smith called Legette a better DK Metcalf.

Xavier Worthy a tall Tank Dell.

Troy Franklin a tall Jordan Addison.

He must be really high on this class.

It's pretty much considered an excellent class for WRs this year. Granted, the talk for much of the college season was centered largely on Marvin Harrison, JR, perhpas making a lot of people forget that this is a deep class overall. There will be some legit talent lasting well into the mid rounds.

I think it's possible most teams will just draft them high and they won't last to the mid rounds. I'd imagine most teams could use another receiver

You might be right, especially if numerous teams feel a need to grab a WR within the 1st two rounds. But there's still a depth of talent in this class and I can see some of them slipping into the mid rounds.

He would be a perfect guy for the Browns. They would likely have to trade up in the 2nd to grab him though

Should be a fun class but his comparisons are stupid. You think he would know more about this stuff being a former WR

Troy Franklin is by far the most common player Im seeing mocked to the Chiefs. It seems like the general consensus on him is that he is a #2 WR. A 'Y' type. Steve Smith mentioned Jordan Addison and he seems like he is a great robin but maybe not a batman. Brett Kollman is low on Franklin but Kollman always seems too low on Y WRs (Addison and Olave IIRC). Ive seen a few plays where Franklin gets open deep and then has to slow down a bit for the deep pass. Bo Nix throws a great ball but not exactly top tier with arm strength Im guessing. If his combine numbers are good I think Franklin goes rd1.

The knock on Adonai Mitchell seems like production. Very few WRs produce at the NFL level if they didnt produce at a high level in college. He seems like a #1 WR, though. Physical, someone you should be able to trust on the outside to beat man coverage. Steve Smith called him out a bit for being a body catcher. Not sure about his top end speed. Seems like a player that goes rd2 and ends up being really good but maybe never elite. I don't hate that pick at 32.

People are all over the place with Xavier Worthy. Comps: Deshaun Jackson, Will Fuller, Tank Dell, Jameson Williams, Travis Benjamin. He isnt as polished as Tank Dell that much I know. I think he might be able to be a Y or spend some time as a Z but not as good at either as Franklin at the Y or McConkey at the Z. All I know is that if there is a coach that could maximize his talent it would be Andy Reid.

Probably because of this play below and others:

I added him to our list.

I generally dont like Florida prospects but Pearsall is great at the catch point and really explosive. Got Rakestraw on the wrong leverage and outran him pretty easily.

Pearsall and Corley are very fascinating Day 2/Day 3 prospects. Looking forward to see how well they do at the Combine. Pearsall looks like a guy you can place at any offensive position -- running back and wide receiver. Some of his catches have been insane.
