No, I'm not asking him to do anything. He outright said that he wanted to stay in Jacksonville. So stay and take less money. Jags have blown their wad and now a 29 year old man is getting emotional about leaving his safe haven. I don't want anyone here who doesn't want to be here. I don't want someone who takes the money and then starts bitching that he had no idea that............and becomes a cancer.

The Patriots have Brissett and Rourke. They may not be Mr. Wonderful, but they can play. The Oline looks to be in much better shape than it was a week ago. Okafor will be the LT and Onwenu the right. Sow will be the RG and Strange or a possible FA vet will be the LG. I'll hold judgement until after two preseason games. My gut says that they will be surprisingly good.
The O line does not look any better Okafor lost his starting job so it's not like we have an upgrade, it's still very much a paper line. Im damn sure not hanging my hat on any NE QB right now. No Sir

LOL, you sure seem to get frustrated. But you are asking a top tier WR to comne to a team with no QB and a shitty O Line.

Fuck Ridley......................Time to move on.

Patriots are offering more money but Ridley ""would really like to stay in Jacksonville""!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really??????????? Stop wasting time. They've made the best offer and he's hoping that Jacksonville will cut a couple of players expand their cap and keep him??? Sorry. Don't want him now. He'll be a pain in the ass, wishing he'd stayed in Jagsville. Guess what Calvin?? Gabe Davis was signed and he's going to take away at least 25% of your targets.

Time to move on. These guys might not have all of bells and whistles but are certainly better than Ju-Ju or TT.

Tyler Boyd
Curtis Samuel
Josh Reynolds
Marquis Brown
We've got Brissett for a couple years, Jimmy G is going to be free tomorrow...

Trade #3 back and go for Nabors or Odunze.

All I'm saying .......If he's waiting for the Jags to peel bodies so they can find the money to sign him, then don't waste time trying to entice him. If the guy was ready to move on, he would have signed already. Sign TJ Osborn and see if it moves the needle if they're so desperate to sign him.

Like trying to get the head cheerleader to go to the prom with you when she has a crush on the basketball captain.

UCHE has returned.
I'm more of an Uche fan this morning. Read another report where he took less because of Mayo. He's another player saying he'd run thru a wall for Coach Mayo. This D is going to be fierce is Judon and Gonzo are healthy.

Quite surprised he took a one year deal.

Eagles laugh...........................

Quick easy camp meat.

The Steelers are laughing at Wilson playing for the on Denvers Dime. The Eagles grabbed a cheap vet while at the same time we had to cut him because his dead money brings more value to the Pats than his taking a roster spot from someone who can play.

Money well spent.

No one has made an offer to Kyle Dugger. It was explained well on Early Edition.

Because of the number of free agents, making an offer to a transition tagged player can be deadly. The team that transitions has 7 days to match any offer the player receives. Here's the problem. Let's say that the Jets offer Dugger 3/$48M. The Patriots have 7 days to match. The smart thing to do is, nothing, for six and half days and see who remains to be picked up. The they re-sign him at the Jets offer or let him go. Problem for the Jets is that they have to wait and hope every other LB isn't signed over those six and a half days. The transition is at $13.8M which may or may not be fair for a safety, but Dugger is stuck with it for a year unless he's willing to negotiate a new contract. If not, he gets $13.8M and has to hop that he can make it through 2024 uninjured and not get franchised for 2025. He's 28 and the Patriots want to sign him through 2026. 3/$48M with $30M as guaranteed or a Bonus seems about right.

We’ve done a great job keeping our own free agents. But have done dick as far as anyone else. Not one single “fuck yeah! We got him!” I guess I’m a little disappointed so far.

Isn't that Wolfe's calling card?

Yep, no big splashes but picked up some nice complimentary players. Let's hope Hooper finds his groove again.

Still some nice FA talent out there. As of now I probably give the Pats a B or B-. Could possibly move up to a B+ for me with a couple good pick ups.

If we could land OT Tyron Smith along with one of these WRs. I'll give them a B+.
Marquise Brown, Mike Williams, Tyler Boyd, Michael Thomas, Hunter Renfrow.

Couple this with a strong draft I'll be pleased.

I'm more the C to C- mindset. Yes we kept some pieces but how did that make the team any better. We are losing a starting LT and brough in a guy that lost his job to a rookie and who may be best suited for RT or a depth role. No WRs to make the team better and no upgrade at QB.

Perhaps the idea is to retain quality and build through the draft. There is depth a OT QB and WR
