Are the Vikings looming as an option or are they a full go with McCarthy for 2025?

I mean if Rodgers is willing to come cheap.. you prob. snag him. McCarthy was basically the size of a sperm when he was drafted... he could certainly stand to spend 2 years on the bench and learn behind someone like Rodgers.... who IMO could easily win with the Vikes given their amazing cast of offensive talent/coaching.

That said, I don't think there's any issue starting McCarthy, either...

Minny has to be intriguing to Rodgers if Minny is up for it.

The only teams left are TEN, CLE, PIT and NYG. Minny is easily the best spot

I think the Vikings would be the best fit for Rodgers given how much talent they have, but I bet he goes to the Steelers, I’m not sure I would want Rodgers if I were the Vikings, I think they might have just as much if not more success going with McCarthy at QB, Rodgers could easily become a distraction.
I see the Vikings have signed Javon Hargrave to go along with Jonathan Allen on the D-Line, they are going to have a talented team, I bet they boost their secondary in the draft.

AJ Dillon signing with the Eagles I see, I guess he’ll be Saquon’s backup. Decent backup RB

I was shocked to see that he’s only 26. I really think he’s cooked. He’s slow as fuck. I think he’s more like the third back in Philly. It’s mostly going to be the Saquon show with Will Shipley as the back up. Hope they didn’t spend much on him. He’s only there if someone gets hurt <knock on wood>

He was decent for a couple of years in GB before he got banged up. It will be interesting to see if he does anything in Philly, I forgot about Shipley, I guess he’ll take on the role Gainwell had last season, Shipley was a pretty good RB at Clemson I remember, what do you think of him?

In the run he’s gotten (very limited) I’ve liked what I’ve seen. He’s been a very good special teams guy so far and when he’s been given carries has looked decisive and has run tough. Like with all young RBs, I worry about him holding up in protection. Eagles were spoiled here with Gainwell as a back up. He wasn’t flashy but he was a 3 down back if you needed him to be. Until Saquon came, he was the best pass protector on the team through Miles Sanders and Deandre Swift.

It will be interesting to see how he does, Gainwell was a pretty good backup, I think Shipley has potential. I see Gainwell signed with the Steelers.
It’s good to have depth at RB - my Falcons have two very good rushers in Bijan and Allgeier, I think Allgeier would start on many teams.

I agree with that assessment

A Fantasy Football guy could correct me but generally I think RBs peak at 24 and 25. Then the majority fall off at that point while the elite can hold on for awhile.

Shipley has looked decent, but yes he is more like a Gainwell. If Saquon were to get hurt I think you would need a bigger back and maybe Dillon is it. But he sounds like a guy who could also get cut in preaseason to me. Could be the next Rashaad Penny.

I think Adam Schefter came saying that. He's a little too sucking up to Philly on that clip and I'm an Eagles fan. Is someone carrying Howie's water now? Wanting more than agent-fed scoops? Kinda hilarious tbh.

Yeah I’m not conditioned as an Eagles fan to see all this praise for them.
