I figured Darnold would go to Seattle, but I bet it doesn’t go well, Darnold was in a great situation last year in Minnesota and so he put up solid numbers but he finished the season poorly in the last game against Detroit and then in the playoff game against the Rams. The Seahawks are rebuilding and have no receivers right now other than JSN and I bet Darnold struggles and the Seahawks will draft their franchise QB in a year or two.

Probably the worst thing to happen to Seattle since the Sonics left
It's all relevant, compared to signing Rodgers this is great news. Cost could of been way worse given contracts being handed out. Just wasn't any great choices and this is about as good as could be had. Also means they don't have to reach round one on a QB, they can wait and take a later flyer.

Better get to work on that O-line.

Panthers dodged a bullet as far as I am concerned. Paying Milton Williams $26 million a year is madness. Do people realize he was a rotational defensive tackle for most of his time in Philly, a part-time player? He can likely start on a 3-4 defense as a DE, or as 3-technique in a 4-3, but he is a bit of a tweener size wise and ideally suited to a situational pass-rushing role.

Honestly, what Seattle is doing makes more sense than keeping Geno and DK. Like what Denver did when they got rid of Wilson. Rip off the bandaid, rebuild. I'm just not sure Darnold is anything more than a bridge.

Correct he's a bridge, that was/ is the best out there. No franchise QBs available.
