If we could walk away with MHJ or any be of those elite tackles we will be in business.

I think a GM would be giddy at playing with at least 90m plus 5 top 100 picks...3 being in the top 40.

With a new owner and new stadium on the horizon, harris should have elite candidates apply.

Nice draft. "IF" we can pick up an extra 2nd and maybe a 4th to move down 1-2 spots only, I would be elated. We would still get a top tier OT but also land additional talent we desperately need. I'm still high on drafting LSU QB Daniels or Pennix if he is there in round 2.

Honestly, I'm leaning Daniels right now. Harrsion and Caleb both have talked about coming back but I'm sure their agent will explain that by doing that it will push their big payday down the road by a year.

Then there is the injury risk. We all remember the dynamic back McGahee was pre injury.

I hope Harrison comes out, if nothing more than to push an elite prospect down the board to us.

Still want to see how Howell finishes the season. I've been all over the place lately, but getting Daniels does give us a four year window instead of two.

I just feel Daniels in the right hands, Slowik, Ben, or the guy in Baltimore could make him someone that teams have a hard time dealing with. When you have a QB that freezes the defense, it changes everything.

Still, a small part of me hopes Howell balls out in four close losses and we can just plug and play Harrison Jr. It's early.

Me too at 4. However, a trade partner allowing us to move down to 9-10 I would pull the trigger on Daniels. Use the 2nd round to rebuild the Oline. Pick up an additional OL or 2 in FA as well. We have Stromberg who we know very little about and should play these last 4 games to determine if he is starter material for next season. Like I said in another thread, keep Lucas, Stromberg & Cosmi. I know we just paid Wylie but for the love of God, he sucks and needs to be cut so rip the scrab off now and bite the bullet. We need a starting caliber LT, LG & RT at the very least. I would expect nothing less.

Maybe I'm off my rocker, but is it a hot take to say that by draft night Daniels will have passed Maye on big boards?
