Yeah, you were pretty cocky when you drafted him. Taunting Q.
Hey man. Life was grand. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, and Jeremy Johnson was my QB1. Why wouldn't I be strutting around the office?

Jalen Berger.

#2 overall pick and didn't even start after a good Freshmen season, in which he took over the starting job midseason. Thankfully, I ended up with Braelon Allen a few weeks into the season but someone else drafted Chez Melussi, whom it feels like has been in college 100 years and he started off as the starter, got hurt and then Berger left and I lucked out with Braelon Allen that year.

You at least got a few more fantasy points out of Berger that year then Q got out of Gage Grubard who was taken with the #3 pick one year.

Have to revise since I just went back and looked at my 1st rounders

Jarek Broussard is definitely my worst 1st round pick. Nice freshman year at Colorado, regressed his sophomore year big time, only had like 600 yards and 2 TDs for me

Jordan Ta'amu was a huge disappointment as well.

Followed by Kyle Hicks who had a big year the year before I drafted him (around 1500 total yards and 14 total TDs) year I got him, 800 yards and 5 TDs

I guess these guys at least played and did "something" though. Not 1st rounder quality numbers, but I didn't have to cut them early in the season.

I remember a few first rounders going down with season ending injuries before the season start.

Knile Davis, RB, Arkansas (Q)
Darren Evans, RB, Virginia Tech (Guru)

I once had a keeper go down with a season ending injury before the season started. Jonathan Williams, RB, Arkansas

OSU had a keeper kicked out of college.

Does max Borghi count for this?

Sage Surratt would be mine if the covid year counts for this question. Opted out after a great season the year before.

If not, then probably Darrell Scott, which I think may have been my first or second draft when I was clueless taking a top recruit.

Khalon Laborn at FSU lol! was kind of a reach keeper anyways because of the weak options I had. But he still looked to be in line to maybe be the #1 back and get a good amount of carries that year. How do you get kicked out of Florida State?

He ended up at Marshall and had a big year in 2022 (1500 yards 16 TDs) ran all over Notre Dame in that upset win.

Doesn't really count but drafting Ja'marr Chase and him not suiting up all covid year sucked too

He should’ve gone to UConn…

I thought Jordan Waters TD train would eventually come to a end. So I played Jaylin Lucas vs Akron.

Of course Waters scored 2 TD and Lucas did shit lol. Cost me the game

Im a worse coach than Ryan Day
