I'm not asking for 26 more wins as in "2021 could always happen again". That's straw man logical fallacy. I'm thinking 9 more wins as a result of some well-placed additional spending ($162mm in 2022 vs $214mm in 2023) that shored up glaring weaknesses in critical areas, some return to form of key veterans (Crawford, Desclafini, Yaz to an extent), and some reasonable improvement of the younger guys (Bart, Sabol, Villar, some bullpen guys). That is not "wildly optimistic", or "not very likely".This is wildly optimistic to me but hope you're right. It's baseball so 2021 could always happen again or something like it where everything goes right for some reason. It's just not very likely.
